Ratings and awards
What it is
The Ratings & awards screen in the website administration. You will find it in the left menu under Sales & marketing. It is available on every plan, including Basic.
You can add two kinds of details there:
- Rating - a score from a site, for example "4.8 out of 5" on Google, optionally with the number of reviews.
- Award - an image the site awarded you, for example a Traveller Review Award.
You can have at most 8 ratings and awards in total.
Why it matters
A guest who finds you on Google or another site often checks your website as well. When they see the same good rating there, they are more likely to book directly with you.
You enter the details yourself. The website loads nothing from the site, so it does not slow down and does not need to ask guests for cookie consent.
How to add a rating
- In the left menu open Ratings & awards.
- Click Add rating.
- Under What to show keep Rating.
- Choose the Site. The scale is set automatically: Google, Airbnb, Tripadvisor and hauzi.sk rate out of 5, Booking.com and megaubytovanie.sk out of 10. If you choose Other site, you enter the site name and pick a scale out of 5 or out of 10 yourself.
- In Link to your profile paste the address of your property page on the site. For a known site it is required and must really lead to that site.
- Fill in the Rating (for example 9.4), optionally the Number of reviews, and the As of date. It is pre-filled with today.
- For a site that requires its consent (see below), tick that you have its written consent.
- Click Save.
The score is shown on your website in the site's original scale, for example "9.6 / 10". The stars next to it are filled in proportion to the scale, so 9.6 out of 10 fills the same share as 4.8 out of 5.
Google and Tripadvisor have their own rules. A Google rating is shown without stars as "4.8 / 5 on Google" with the As of date, a Tripadvisor rating without stars.
The site's consent
Under their terms, some sites do not allow their ratings and reviews to be shown outside the site without their written consent. These terms were checked on 28 October 2026 and the site may change them.
- For such a site the form shows a link to its terms and a required tick box confirming that you have its written consent. Without it the rating is not saved.
- Ask the site itself for consent, for example through its partner support or account manager, and keep it.
- You confirm the consent again each time you edit the rating.
- A rating from such a site without confirmed consent is not shown on your website. In the list it has the label No consent from the site, hidden on the website.
If the form does not ask you to tick the site's consent, for example for Google or a site you enter yourself, the site's consent is not needed. The link to the terms in the administration is only a pointer, not legal advice.
How to add an award
- Click Add rating and under What to show choose Award.
- Choose the Site that granted you the award.
- Click Choose image. We support PNG, JPG and WebP up to 10 MB. A transparent background is kept.
- Fill in the Image description, for example "Traveller Review Award 2026". It is required; screen readers read it out.
- Optionally add the Date awarded and a link to your profile.
- Click Save.
The image counts towards your plan's photo storage, see Gallery and photos. Only use the official image the site has given you for this purpose.
Order and hiding
- Use Move up and Move down to change the order on your website.
- The eye icon hides a rating without deleting it. A hidden one shows the Hidden on the website label.
- Delete removes it permanently, including the image.
Where the ratings appear
- Ratings & awards band above the footer of your website: all visible ratings in the order from this screen, followed by award images and a line with the date the ratings apply to (the oldest As of date).
- Top of the website: the best ratings by score relative to the site's scale. Choose how many in Ratings at the top of the website: Don't show, one, two or three. The default is one.
- Booking page and room detail: always one, the best rating.
- Reviews section (Standard and higher): an On other sites line below the average of your guests' reviews. It is not included in the average.
Keep your rating up to date
Your rating on the site changes over time. When the As of date is older than 6 months, the screen shows a notice and the rating gets the Update label. Open it with Edit, change the score to match the site and set a new date. Awards (images) do not get this notice.
What must be true
Under the Terms of Use (section 6.5) you are responsible for ensuring that:
- the rating and the number of reviews are true and current,
- you state the actual site and the link leads to your profile there,
- you do not select or present the rating in a misleading way, for example an old one as current,
- you have the right to use the award image,
- you have the written consent of a site that requires it.
We may hide or remove a rating that breaches this. If a site or another party brings a claim against us because these rules were breached, you compensate us for the resulting damage.
Ratings in other languages
If your website is in several languages (Standard and above), you can translate your own site name and the award image description in Languages. The names of known sites are not translated.
Common problems
When saving, it says the link does not lead to the site. You pasted the address of a different website, for example a short link from another service. Open your profile on the site and copy the address from your browser.
The scale cannot be changed. Known sites always use the same scale, so it is locked. If your score does not fit the scale, check that you chose the right site.
The Save button is grey. For a site that requires its consent, you need to tick that you have its written consent.
The Add rating button is grey. You already have 8 ratings and awards. Delete some first.
The image did not upload. Check the format (PNG, JPG, WebP) and the size (up to 10 MB). If your photo storage is full, free up space in the Gallery.
